Happy 2nd Birthday Mason!

Two years ago, we nervously and excitedly welcomed Mason Brooks Lochhead into the world. Today, we celebrate the two years that have flown by in the blink of an eye. It is hard to believe that the happy, vocal, curious boy sitting in front of me is the same little boy.


Kids change so fast in two years. But we have changed too. Mason has changed us. We are more patient, more understanding, more loving, and happier than we have ever been. And isn't that what life is all about?  Evolving, learning, becoming better people?  Thank you Mason for coming into our life and our family. We love all 47 chromosomes of you. And wouldn't get rid of the extra one if we could!
